Uconn or Rutgers NB

I have to decide between them. UConn will be slightly more expensive than RU, being that I am an instate student. I plan on majoring in chemistry, or physics, and would like to know which university has better departments in these subjects. which one has better research? I plan on going to medical school, so any stats on med school acceptance rates, I tried to find some with little luck. thanks

Rutgers will be fine for what you want to do. If you want to go to med school, it is important you keep the costs as low as possible

Med school essentially depends on you, your preparation, work ethics, ability to create a balanced schedule.
I’d give a slight nudge to UConn, but what amount are you talking about?

my bad, I was mixing up my math, Rutgers would be about 25k a year, and UConn would be about 38k. so yeah, more than a couple lol. I take it UConn isn’t worth that extra 13k?? @myos1634 , @thedidactic thanks for your input.

I would stick with Rutgers because that extra 13K will add up over 4 years.

Not only will the extra 13K add up over the years but I also don’t believe UConn is worth that extra coin. Rutgers is good.

Unless your parents have a huge college fund for you, then I’d go with Rutgers.

Thanks
