I got accepted into UCONN but in Waterbury campus, which i don't like it. I think I deserve to got into Storr campus since: my GPA is 3.90, class rank top 10%, sport, curriculum activities, and I also took 4 AP classes. I think the only problem I have is my English since I moved to America 4 years ago without knowing anything. Therefore, my SAT in English is pretty low. Combine with the math, I got 1100. I think with all of my hard work, I should deserve more than that. I want to ask is there any chance I could get into Storr campus during freshman year and how? Thank you

My daughter was accepted to UConn in Stamford branch which we think is a mistake. Other students in her HS got into Storrs with lower GPA, SAT, etc.
Her stats: GPA 4.6 (W), top 5% of class, tons of EC’s, 4 AP’s, rest all Honors, leadership in clubs/organizations, NHS, Spanish NHS, THESPIAN NHS. SAT 1880, 1210 M/V.
My only thought with you is that your SAT score is low, they generally branch with SAT under 1800. This is why we are very confused with my daughter! Good luck, you sound like you are a very smart, motivated student. Where else did you apply?
