Call them up and ask. When I talked with the head of the honors program they said everybody in the program is guaranteed a spot in their med school if they keep up a 3.5 GPA.

I called, but the person there was just a general person. She told me to email and she would find out. I hope to hear from them soon to see if thats true. I hope it really is. That would be awesome!

I sent my application on like November 31, and already got my letter.

I sent my application in but I applied to the B.F.A program in Technical Theatre. I haven't gotten my official letter yet, but head of program called admissions and told me I was in. Go Huskies Class of 09'

I got my acceptance letter today.

That's so great, everyone! :) I just got accepted today to the school of Pre-Pharm ^_^ Way to go!

I was accepted to UConn and the honors program a month or two ago as well. I can't wait. I've applied for the combined program but in dental. I can't wait to find out.

Has anyone who has applied RD gotten accepted yet?? My application was sent probably a few days after 12/01 and the school hasn't even acknowledged receipt of it.

My son "tried" to apply EA. Submitted application online mid-November, but the GC part of it wasn't mailed till 11/30! He received an e-mail 12/16 or so from UConn saying his app was complete. So we're very anxiously awaiting that acceptance (hopefully) letter! Also, his best friend applied EA, or so I'm told, but he hasn't heard yet either.

partybabe33n - i applied ed but they usually send an email when they have everything but it usually isn't until after quite a while. I called them to ask if they had received everything and they let me know over the phone. You might want to try to call the admissions office, they should be able to let you know.

mom3sons...I was in a similar situation as your son in that my complete application was a bit late for EA but I got the acceptance letter a few days ago. I think Uconn is kind of sem-rolling admissions.

Congrats eireann! Hope my son gets his letter soon! He was actually at UConn last night to see Dane Cook. My oldest son is a UConn student and was able to get a few tickets.

Who here's first choice is UConn?

Mine is! I'm thrilled I'm in and don't have to worry about college apps anymore

Mine is too, unless a certain ivy pulls through for me.

mine actually isn't...I'm starting to like it more, but I live in Storrs so it would be nice to go somewhere else...

It's not my first choice, but I'm definitely considering it because of the scholarship they gave me, and because they will take all the credits for college classes I have taken.

Uconn is such an amazing place to spend four years at. It is gorgeous, amazing education, great sports team, and good location between new york and boston. I got into the liberal arts and science school for political science there yesterday. I would encourage everyone to go look at the school if they have already applied and give it a chance. The deadline for storrs campus was today so if you didnt already apply, there is always next year!

Sabrina~ there is only 15,000 undergrads at uconn-storrs. The over all number is big because it takes in to account of all the regional campus too!

dreaminon13-Congrats! My oldest son is UConn PoliSci major, he loves it!
