I'm a high school senior and I was denied from my first choice, UConn - Storrs. I was accepted into UConn Stamford as an exploratory major, but I want to go into International Business/Finance/Business Administration. I know that Stamford is a really good financial option, but is there any way I can transfer to Storrs after a semester or a year? I tried calling them but they said I needed 54 credits to transfer to Storrs. Is there any way around this? What do I have to do, I'm stressing out because I wanted to go to UConn Storrs so bad. :(

Hi entomom, thanks for the assistance. I’m confused on what they’re saying, I can only transfer after one year with the 30 credits in mathematics, economics, and accounting?

And what if I could only take general studies courses and not enough of the math, economics, and accounting classes? I received 6 credits in high school from Micro and Macro economics. How would everything play out for me?

You must have a minimum of 30 units.

Within those units, you must have fulfilled the * prerequisites* for the math, econ & acct courses for your major.
