<p>How hard would it be to transfer from UCONN or Temple to PSU after one semester or 1 year in sciences? ANd do HS grades count as much as college?

<p>Penn States Transfer acceptance rate varies drastically each year. Also, the school/major that you are applying to has a HUGE affect..If you've only completed one year, then they will probably advise you to go to one of the sister campus' (altoona, york etc.) for a year than transfer to state college. Of course, your chances of getting in at Happy Valley are also a lot higher if you're an out of state student (you have to pay more $$, therefore they want you) and if you have alumni in your family. PSU puts a HUGE emphasis on alumni. Crazy...hope this proved helpful.</p>
