@fockey23 When did you apply again?
I applied in late december for nursing and allied health! @uconn2498
Awesome! Hope the decision is in your favor!
Accepted as well but into my second choice (Economics). Applied as a Finance Major.
Currently at a small state school in NJ. Second Semester Freshman. First Semester 4.0 GPA.
Hs Stats: 3.3/4 (UW). (Ouch)
Sat: 1300/1600
Good luck to all!
I just got accepted today, but for exploratory studies and not for the business school. I am a sophomore and applied as a Finance major with a 3.3 college GPA. Not sure if it makes sense for me to be in the exploratory studies program as a junior and plus I heard that once you are in this program it’s really hard to transfer into the business school so it looks like I probably won’t be going to UConn unfortunately
Was accepted today! Awesome
Has everyone else already heard back? I still haven’t and my application was complete early January.
i was a little late to post my stats and this is quite off topic, but is anyone here that has been accepted planning on living/requesting to live in the transfer community in busby? i’m not quite sure if it’s a smart decision to do so or not.
I’ve heard that they were doing that now, I think it would be a good decision especially because busby are suites. The only thing is that I would want to be with other sophomores
Yeah, that seems interesting… buy I’m with fockey23, like to be with other sophomores.
If you mean within the dorm, Busby is a predominantly sophomore/junior dorm by default! Most freshman are placed in traditional doubles, so that wouldn’t be an issue.
has everyone received their decision? I still have not heard anything. Does that mean Im not getting in?
what major did you apply for? Some deadlines were not until April 1st, they’re probably just slowly dealing with everything!
I still have not heard anything. Portal just says “application was competed…” I completed application December 28th for the business school.
I also have still not heard. App completed january 5th for business school
How hard would it be to transfer into UCONN after freshman year assuming that I have a 3.5 GPA. I’m planning to transfer into the business school or CAS. I also heard that UCONN doesn’t look at your high school grades if you completed at least 30 credits.
The school of business is hard to get into no matter what year you are in, but having a 3.5 GPA is a great thing they look for! And you are right they do not look at high school grades or standardized test scores if you have a certain amount of credits. @sciencegeek888
for anyone in the Class of 2020, have you tried requesting to be in the Class of 2020 Facebook group? Mine has been pending for like 2 weeks now
people,my portal now has the button for paying the deposit. is it a good sign?
