Hello everyone! I just wanted to know everyone's opinion or thoughts on what the chances are for me to get accepted to the Nursing program at UConn. I am currently a pre-nursing student at Southern Connecticut State University and will be applying to its nursing school next spring, but i also want to apply to the Uconn program as a back up. I want to know if i need to apply to the school as a transfer student first before i apply to its program or how does it work? I have always wanted to go to UConn but as a commuter Southern was closer, therefore I'm hoping i get into both schools and get to choose UConn. My grades are overall good. I graduated high school with a 3.6 GPA, top 15% of my class, and currently my GPA at southern is a 3.56. If you guys don't think i have a good chance of making it in the Uconn program what other schools should i apply to that are within the state of Connecticut? Thank you!

have you spoken with counselors or teachers regarding schools that might best to transfer to within CONN? They can be an excellent resource. I am not familiar with nursing programs but your gpa seems high… what are you ECS?

Chance me back?
