Uarizona-26k
+4th ranked(does rank even matter?)

Uconn-20k
+can count as instate tuition if i get into the pharm program
-must maintain 3.5(is that tough for a B honors high school student) during prepharm to get into pharm program

NEU-15.5k
+live near home
+GUARANTEED 6yr pharmD program
+coOp
-NOT even ranked for pharmacy?!?!?(or very low)
-ranked lower than UMASS(extremely easy to get into party school..) in USNEWs overall...

so basically my problem is that
~the rank of NEU scares me off
~the rank and non GUARANTEED of UCONN scares me off
~the unknown(why ranked so high?!) and price about Uarizona scares me off

Arizona is a little too lax on academics, even though they arent bad. Too much of a party place IMO. UConn has a great mix of serious academics and partying. NEU is ugh

UCONN's pharm program is terrific and has extremely good connections throughout new england for internships and jobs. plus, tremendous school spirit, and as someone said, great mix of top notch academics and partying. watch uconns rank increase rapidly over the next few years. for the quality of education at the instate price, it would be a no brainer for me.

UConn for sure. They have a BRAND new pharmacy building, and it can't possibly be too far away from you. UConn science buildings in general are insane. UA isn't worth that money over UConn.

UConn. NEU scares me as well. As someone who wanted to do pharmacy and was very serious about it for a time, the rankings of NEU always scared me. Not that I'm ranking obsessed or anything, but it just seemed to be a warning to me. UA is good, but it's a huge party school, and it's not worth the cost.

i visited BU, NEU and UConn this passed week. I loved UConn, especially their brand new facilities. 2.3 bill endowment. Hated NEU. Felt out of place to me and didnt feel the students were on the same academic level as UConn and BU

Fess up, NEU rejected you. That's why you've gone sour on the school and are headed to BU CGS.

"..didnt feel the students were on the same academic level as UConn and BU"

What are you talking about? There is a huge SAT gap between NEU and UConn in favor of Northeastern. And the stats for NEU and BU are about the same.

One more thing JPod, UConn does not have a 2.3 Billion endowment. (shows how little you know about the school). According to UConn's own website, the endowment for the entire UConn system is $272 million:

Remarkable Transformation
UConn is renewing, rebuilding and enhancing its campuses through an unprecedented 20-year, $2.3 billion state investment in the University

NEU seems like your best choice. It's the best financially and location-wise. UConn would be too much pressure. I hate those programs with strict cutoffs.
