UConn vs. Northeastern

<p>I was accepted to UConn and am waiting to hear back from Northeastern! (When do I find out, anyone know?)</p>

<p>I am going into accounting or international business. No scholarships/finan. aid from either</p>

<p>What's important to me...
-A GOOD party school
-A very good reputation for the school
-A pretty school
-A place where I can basically have the best time of my life and still be respected for going there!</p>

<p>If you don't mind, list ANY pros/cons you have for each, even if it's one thing!</p>

<p>Northeastern University has the better quality of life and academically, Northeastern is very well known throughout the Northeast because of its co-op program.</p>

pros - definitely a party school, big athletics school
cons - in the middle of nowhere!</p>

pros - still a party school, but more urban ex. bars and clubs. boston!! co-ops
cons - not as big on athletics</p>

<p>both are about the same quality academically, but if you're career oriented northeastern is definitely for you because of coop.</p>

<p>Agree with the above poster, although NEU does have killer hockey, and the Beanpot is HUGE in Boston. Also, either apply for or make friends with kids in the honors program. The dorms for those kids are ridiculous...one of my friends is in it this year and his suite has 2 floors as a freshman. Yup.</p>
