Uconn vs. University of New Haven

May 1st is coming up and I’m freaking out. I got accepted into Uconn Storrs and University of New Haven and at first, I was pro-Uconn all the way.
However, the size of the school scares the hell out of me.
I’m undecided, so getting accepted into the ACES exploratory program was really great, but the size of the school is intimidating. I go to a high school where there’s under 80 kids in my grade. So, it would be a really huge transition.
There’s also the fact of price.
UNH is originally more expensive than Uconn, but I got a really great scholarship, so it ends up being a lot cheaper. I can totally afford Uconn but UNH is giving me a much better offer.
Plus, UNH is a lot smaller. And I feel like I’d be a lot more comfortable with something like that just because I’ve never had experience in a huge school.
I’m just really confused and I’m freaking out.
If there are anyone who goes to these schools or know anything about my struggle, could you give me your opinions on the schools? (Like how do you feel about classes, teachers, the size, and just the overall environment). I know a lot of stuff based on their websites and I know Uconn is supposedly “better” or “more impressive”, but I just wanna make sure I’m comfortable where I go.

UConn is much better academically but you’re right, it’s very big, and ACES doesn’t give you any special privileges that I know of. At UNH, you’d be a top student, with more opportunities than the “regular” student.
