I was waitlisted by UConn, and was told that they should notify me by late-May. Does anyone know of their waitlist stats?

I read (forgot the URL) that last year 3000+ waitlist 1700+ got in

I was just called today and found I got accepted off the waitlist =). Though as good of a school as UConn is, I’m actually going somewhere else anyway… But it’s still good to know that I got in.

Weighted GPA: 3.28
Cumulative SAT: 1810

Good luck in being accepted!

My home phones don’t work, trouble with Comcast or something like that. Congratulations on getting accepted. Where did you settle on instead?

Well I’m going to Umass Amherst for a year and then hopefully getting a better GPA so that I can get a transfer scholarship to Drexel. I’m a Mass. resident so I can apply for a scholarship that makes tuition free for me at Umass.

Here’s to hoping that they use my now open spot to accept you =)

So I called them today, and apparently they tried to call me yesterday to say I’ve been accepted, which I never got, since my home phones are screwed up.
Long story short, I got in off the waitlist.

We called Uconn last week (I think the 5th) inquiring about rank on the waitlist and when they were going to start notifying applicants of their status and if they were going to call or send letters.

They said that once all the accepted enrollments were in, they were going to review again the waitlisted applicants, check for updated information, then send letters out within the next couple weeks and would have them all out by the end of the month.

So you both received phone calls from Uconn?

OK, I just called them again, apparently they ARE making phone notifications - it’s a little frustrating to get conflicting information from them.
