You aren’t admitted yet. maybe that’s why

now my peace time starting to corrupt, due to i just find out about cal grant. GG.

you probably will get a cal grant since you submitted a fafsa by march 2 and pcc submitting your gpa electronically

@Chelzmcnamara

It says the information doesn’t match. I have no idea why it wouldn’t though. This is frustrating. Growl says deadline to submit things is May 15th, but I’m afraid I won’t get as much money now.

@chel, 1 more question,

you know the part when you list schools for fafsa right?
do we need to list CCC + UCs as well or just list only the UC?
how do they know that i apply so they can submit my gpa automatically.

@ robbieofcourse. I would call irs or something to see exactly why. hopefully you’ll get an answer then.

@ ferrari

don’t list PCC. you won’t be going there in 12-13. just list UCs u applied to. They (PCC) submits everyone’s GPA that attended PCC for the last 10 yrs I think? You’ll find out once you get to login to that webgrant site

@robbie
I have the same problem and tried calling the IRS and the rep didn’t know what I was talking about (she was actually pretty nice though) then asked a FAFSA rep and they suggested a tax transcript. THEN, I called UCR’s Financial Aid office and they sai that they don’t accept tax transcripts and that some of their students have had to wait 4-5 weeks to be able to successfully link to the IRS and to wait and try again in a week or so.

So I’m waiting. I check it about twice a week though and hope it works. So far it hasn’t and I filed my taxes at the end of February.

The financial aid office said that as long as you submit everything before the May deadline, you will get the maximum amount of financial aid based on your info.

@rschwartz

That is very reassuring. Thanks for posting all that. Here’s hoping it’ll work soon.

You’re welcome. I hope it works soon also so I can start bugging Sallie Mae about a loan since it’s looking like I’ll have to pay even if my EFC is 0

UCR was my second acceptance! I also got an e-mail saying my financial aid file was incomplete and I have until May to file it. :/

I just got my acceptance package in the mail.

Okay, so we get our packets about 3 weeks from acceptance date?

So…I haven’t gotten any package yet. I’ve gotten the snail mail version of the invite to the open house thing but I haven’t gotten my acceptance package despite receiving the acceptence letter 3 weeks ago.

Just got my package!!! now for the other damn schools…

anyone going to highlander day?

I am I hope there aren’t any people complaining about only being accepted to UCR or how UCR is their last choice

@UCHappytrain

I am!

@uchappytrain i’ll be there as well as far as i know. i haven’t reserved a spot yet though. haha. ILL SEE YOU ALL THERE! (without knowing it’s any of you…)
