Unfortunately, I did not get into UCR, so I appealed the day I found out about the news.
What are the chances of getting in through appeal? My friend got in to Davis after sending the appeal letter....

Sorry this is totally off topic but how’d you find out you didn’t get in? o.O & what were your stats? Haha. I’m waiting for a response from UCR too and everyone seriously seems like they got a reply already -_-

You go online at my.ucr.edu & it says on the home page.

I had 3.0 weighted/unweighted GPA until junior year, 1990 on the SAT, 800 on my Language test and 770 on my Math 2C. I was a president and a secretary of two different clubs for a year each. I was also part of the Interact club for two years. I am also an editor for school yearbook & volunteered at two places for about two years.

Your chance of success is low, but it may be worthwhile if it’s the only school to which you applied or receive no other acceptances.

“I had 3.0 weighted/unweighted GPA until junior year”
What do you mean by that? 3.0 is minimum.

small chance, but you never know how appeal really work (mood or by the book?)

because of California budget issues UC’s are getting less funding which leads to higher expectations from potential students

I had 3.0 until junior year and got 3.7 last semester.
