UCR Business or Berkeley Political Economy

Hi, last year, I was accepted to both UC Berkeley Political Economy program as well as UC Riverside Business Admin program w/concentration in Accounting. I delayed my transfer and will have the choice again most likely. WHich one should I choose if I want to go into accounting or business related field? I hear recruiting is better at Berkeley for general business companies, but UCR also places many top students at Big Four accounting firms. I feel the UC Berkeley Political Econ program is too liberal arts orientted and I could have problem finding a job. I also feel the prestige advantage definitely goes to Berkeley. Please share you opinion. Thanks

Look into designing your own major; it may be an option. It’s called “Interdisciplinary Studies” at Berkeley: [Interdisciplinary Studies : UC Berkeley](http://ugis.ls.berkeley.edu/isf/major.php?page=faq)

Zouman, I’m also applying as a Political Economy major as a transfer to CAL…Do you mind sharing your stats man. :P

Ramfan661, Last year I had 3.77 GPA and now I have a 3.82. I attended an OOS college for one semester and had a 3.2 before coming to California with the last 44 units (4.0) Im sure you’ll be fine if you have a good story and a decent GPA (3.6+)
