My message just changed. Maybe many of you have already seen this but this is the first time it showed up for me.
We have received a record number of applications from excellent students all over the world and are reviewing them now.
We post admission decisions daily beginning in March, so keep logging into your account to check your application status. Don’t forget to check your “My Alerts” tab and your “My Announcements” tab for information or messages from your admissions counselor. You may find something listed there that we still need from you in order to complete your application and post your admission decision.
In the meantime, schedule a campus tour with a UCR student as your guide, or take a virtual one!

Literally in the part two hours it has gone back to admitted, then I refreshed and went to pending, refreshed again, admitted. I think it’s safe to say I’m in, but this is still insane

I’m in with my major!
We all seem a little confused about this. Here’s my theory:
I’m sure that UCR is having a glitch right now and if your acceptance letter doesn’t state your “major” then you have not been accepted. Meanwhile, if your letter has your major written in it, I’m pretty sure you should feel safe that it’s most likely “legit” as UCR did state that they started sending out decisions yesterday.
Oh my God so just a few minutes ago I was admitted and then my portal reverted back to being under review…this is so frustrating!
My just went back to review as well! The good thing is that all of our statuses are going from accepted to reviewed at the same time, so it is definitely something on their end. It’s pretty tough to mess it up if you were accepted with a major. Seems like a hard mistake to make

Lots of working experience and theatre in high school, decent extra curriculars, one honors class each year of school. Upward trend, I guess decent personal statements. Not sure lol I did it in one night, which I kinda regret.

Now it says I’m admitted again! I will definitely be calling admissions at 9 to confirm my acceptance.
And now it’s back to under review, I’m just going to stop checking my portal.
Whoever gets a response first from admissions, please let us know what they say about which admission is accurate!
What’s the order of releasing the acceptance? Is it by waves or by the last name? I’m so confused
So…are we accepted or not? This is absolute BS. All I have to say is, don’t major in comp sci at UCR.
I believe if you’ve seem your status reported as accepted with your major listed, then you are safe. However I just tried logging back on and it gave me a new error message saying I don’t have access. Anyone else? I’m calling in 30 minutes.
