“Last-minute.”
@OCDDad does that mean decisions won’t be coming out today?
@collegenerd365 - no one on this board knows when exactly decisions are coming out. Anyone who claims they know is likely wrong and just guessing.
I don’t see the message!? The portal works now. Did they take off the message?
@orionary - last minute means bug fixes they didn’t know about. Why can’t they test the system over the summer and fix the bugs. It’s not that complicated of a system and volume is to be expected and predictable.
Anyone here applied as a transfer student, submitted TAG application and was accepted? How likely are you to get admission to UCR through TAG?
@isaac123 If you apply for TAG, you are 100% guaranteed to be accepted as long as you fulfil their TAG requirements such as GPA.
@OCDDad yeah that’s what I’m thinking! They should’ve made sure everything was working well before decision date.
@OCDDad is the message is still on the portal? I don’t see any messages.
I think it means they will be coming out today
the message seems to be here https://my.ucr.edu/
@thedumbsmartguy232 I still see the message in the portal. https://my.ucr.edu
@thedumbsmartguy232, the message popped up after logging off the portal. My DD was just able to get into the portal, but no results yet.
The portal is back up, but no admissions as far as I am aware
They didn’t send anything
I contacted UCR Admissions - regarding the updates, they said “Check in a few hours, if not give us a call at (951) 827-7284.”
I kept trying and was able to log in couple times but no acceptance decision yet. However, I did realized that my DD applied wrong major and now really hesitate whether we should request change to major or just wait until admission decision. DD wants Business Administration or Business Econ but she put Econ/Administrative Studies which is not under Business school. Not sure how difficult is to switch major and school?
This is very unfortunate. UCR had a very bad admission process last year; thought they’d have fixed it this year.
Anyway, good luck to everyone!
I think best bet would wait until get admitted, chances are higher under Econ/administrative estudies
No decisions yet on my end. L.A resident (local in state)
