The a-g requirements include classes from 9th-12th grade, so I assumed that as long as I got a 3.9 weighted gpa in UC-approved APs/honors overall I’d be fine, but now I’m not sure if they only use 10-11 grade grades now… help?

This is from the Website:
Earn a minimum (weighted) 3.9 GPA in all “a-g” coursework (and maintain academic excellence as a senior).
So it means you need a weighted 3.9 GPA for all a-g coursework including 9th grade.
When you apply in November using the UC application, there is where you will still enter in all your a-g course work but also your calculated UC GPA also using 10-11th grades to determine your UC Eligibility Index.
