<p>Pro: priority registration (this is the biggest plus you get), ability to take certain class in which discussion class is run by the professor (a pro or con), more resources in terms of advices, free prints (has a set limit per day but no way to enforce it), looks good on any resume, build leadership</p>
<p>Con: requires a minimum of 3.5 cumulative GPA each quarter (if not, probation then removal), a few extra work for lower-division honor (not exactly sure about upper-division honor), mandatory workshops, a lot of emails send to you per day</p>
<p>Personally, I did mine because of the registration plus since it is difficult to find the right class with the right professor if you are 1st and 2nd years. But, if you feel like you don’t want the extra work, then it is not worth the trouble</p>
