UCR or CSU?

So I got into UC Riverside as a Pre-Business major and I can't decide between UCR, CSULB, CSUF, Cal Poly Pomona, and CSUN. I recently visited UCR and I couldn't picture myself there for the next four years. Is attending UCR better than going to a CSU in the long run? (getting a graduate degree, finding a job, etc.)

A number of CSUs, such as SDSU, are better than Riverside for business and, if the college isn’t a fit, I would not encourage you to go there.

The benefits of attending Riverside are marginal and often times worse than a few, specific CSU campuses.

Do you know if transferring from ucr to another uc is easier than transferring from a cal state?

yea… it’s harder to transfer from a cal state to a UC than from a UC to a UC. But it’s always better to go to CC if you want to transfer to a better college because most colleges give priorities to CC students. plus, you would have more options for choosing colleges.

don’t forget that UCR is still a UC school and it is well-known for their undergrad business program. You’ll receive a UC education for sake and it can prepare you better than CC if you transfer to another UC school.

if you want to transfer to a better UC school with a business program… UC Berkeley might be the only option. (UC Berkeley, UC Riverside, UC Irvine are the only ones that offer business majors. UC Irvine business program is new.)

i also heard that ucsb’s accounting program is really good too so i might want to transfer there. (i might major in accounting).

UCSB was my first choice but i didn’t get in :(

right now i’m trying to decide between ucr and csulb.

I would say CSULB
