I’m trying to decide between going to UCR or UCI. I got accepted into the honors program at UCR and but wasn’t offered it at UCI. So far it would also cost about $6000 more to go to UCI instead of UCR. I’d like to go to UCI but UCR just seems like a better choice
Do you think the honors program at UCR would better suit you? If so that might be the better option, although UCI has a better reputation.
Is it 6k per year? If so that is significant. If not, then not that significant.
Any idea what you are thinking of studying? I would probably pick UCR for health rscience elated fields, UCI for engineering and CS.

I haven’t decided on a major yet, I’d like to study music a bit but I’ll most likely major in some type of engineering
I know the honors program would be good since I’ve never really been challenged in any of my classes. It can also open up a lot opportunities in I go through college in it
