The only two UC's I got admitted. Which one would you guys recommend? I want to go to the one that is best for my major, not for the environment. I also got in Cal Poly Pomona, so might as well put that one in for the choice. I will probably go for MBA too in the future, but not sure yet. Which one will get me a job easier assuming I have a GPA but no work experience related to business? I'm transfering btw, so I cant waste another year. I have to choose one.

Thanks

You are in the exact same place I am right now. UCSB is overall ranked higher; however, based on the research i have conducted UCR has a more reputable undergrad business program. UCSB does not have a concrete business program, so you will major in business econ instead, UCR in the other hand does have complete business program. I have visited both campuses and I fell in love with UCSB, the campus is beautiful.
I am still waiting on UC Berkeley, but realistically I dont think I will get in. You should really visit both campuses, if I was to choose one right now, i would commit to UCSB even though UCR’s undergrad business is probably better.

Where do you want to work once you graduate? If you want to do accounting, go to UCSB. The Big 4 recruit pretty heavily from there.

I should mention that UCSB does not have a Business Administration program, and the Business Economics major has been replaced with the Economics and Accounting major.

Aside from the Business Economics major, students interested in business look into the Technology Management Program here, which is actually part of the College of Engineering: [Technology Management Program, UCSB](http://www.tmp.ucsb.edu/academics/undergraduate.html)

The UCSB program is waay higher ranked then UCR, so would it be a good idea to be an Economics major and a minor of Technology Management; Would that get me Business related jobs?
Plus i am thinking of getting an MBA, so eventually i would still be able to work in a business related job right?
