UCR or UCSC for bioengineering

So I got accepted to UC riverside, and UC santa cruz. Which one is a better choice for bioengineering? and why?

Hey
i am in the same situation as you were.

where did you go?
and what would you reccomend?

i am kinda leaning to UCR cuz its closer to home

thanks

I don’t really know the differences between the schools’ Bio majors, departments, programs, faculty, research etc., but from what I gather, UCSC is altogether a more interesting and better-liked school than UCR. I haven’t ever been to UCR, but gauging from people say, they seem to like UCSC more often than they seem to like UCR.
