Yesterday, when I went to the UCR portal website to check my admission status, a message appeared saying “Due to the high volume of unprecedented traffic, we are experiencing a significant MyUCR system issue and have temporarily disabled the MyUCR portal. We know how important it is that you be able to access your account and we are very sorry if you have been unable to log in or if you have seen conflicting messages while logged in. Please know that we are working to identify and resolve this issue as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.”
It’s been a full 24 hours and the same message is still there. Anyone else having the same issue?
Yeah, the portal is still down. Someone called the admissions office and they said that the portal won’t be up till early next week. Funny thing is that the UCR admissions people said that the portal would be fixed by 3 pm yesterday. There was a computer glitch that apparently either sent out acceptances to early, or send acceptances to everyone. Best case scenario is that they sent acceptances too early and everyone who got the Congratulation message actually got in.
@dubnation739 I doubt those phantom acceptances were legit. Most likely everyone got them and is being fixed. Because threre hasnt been a single person i saw without a congratulatory message. However, people who saw their majors I believe most likely got accepted, and those without their majors are the glitched ones.
@ImJustaPerson O for real… Damn… I saw my major, wbu?
I didn’t… haha oh well. You def have much more of a chance than I do.
