“According to a spring 2010 survey of business school deans and faculty at AACSB-accredited colleges conducted by U.S. News and World Report for its annual Best Colleges rankings, the UCR School of Business Administration (SoBA) placed in the top 5% of all undergraduate business programs.” ([Undergraduate Business Program: SoBA News](<a href=“Undergraduate | School of Business”>Undergraduate | School of Business))

yes.

come to UCR!

ahh ok thanks!

Is it hard?? How are the professors and what are the internship opp. like?

it’s been really easy so far, but upper divs should be more challenging. =]
the first two years are a lot of general ed stuff. The professors are great. They’re mostly modest geniuses. Obviously there are a couple I don’t like, but most of mine seem to really care about their students and I think they do a good job.
as for internship opportunities, there are career fairs for business majors all the time, but I havent been to one yet because I’ve been too busy to want to pursue a full time internship. Right now I’m just an unpaid intern at the child development center for 6.5 hours a week getting work experience. =] But I think if you really want a paid internship, it’s pretty easy to find one. I looked on careers.ucr.edu and found a ton to apply to. You might need a car though lol. I think it’s okay to wait a year to get settled into college life first. =]

Oh sweet thanks for the info!

You recommend any specific classes to take?

How are the dorms and what activities go on campus ?

if you’re in the honors program, hnpg25 for your physical science requirement is pretty interesting.

the dorms are pretty nice. im in east lothian, its the nicest of the traditional res halls. ai, lothian, and pentland all offer generally different vibes, although it really depends on who is in your hall. UCR offers a ton of specific housing too. like i think were one of the only ones with a gender neutral housing option.

and theres a ton of activities. we’re approaching 400 clubs, so whatever you want to do, we have it! and if not, you can start a club easily. =] rush beta phi delta!!
