Hi all,

I just found out I was accepted to UCR for Cell Bio. I have 90 transferable units and all of my lower division major requirements completed.

On my UC application, I planned to take three classes this spring semester that were not needed for my major, nor necessary for transfer to a UC; I took these classes to be eligible for transfer to a CSU. Does anyone know if I still have to complete these classes to remain eligible for admission? As I said, without these classes I have more than met the requirements for transfer.

I called today and they told me to email admissions since they’re so busy. I got a response saying I should get an answer from my admissions counselor within ten days so I’m hoping to get some info. in the meantime.

There’s really no way of knowing before you get a reply from them. Although I doubt they would rescind you, I don’t think it’s worth the risk. When is the drop deadline?

The deadline is a ways away, but I don’t want to have to take three classes I don’t need. Lol
