anticipating A’s for both, just easy classes mus and psy

so is your GPA 2.9 now? because if it is, you def will clear the threshold after this summer

no like 2.94 with both classes assuming i get an A

ohhh you are like .6 points away from a 3.0 im sure they will just accept you on contingency.

anyone think different?

what do you mean by contingency, so like i can put classes for fall semester and plan what kind of grades i expect to get?

■■■■■ cute.

no, like they will go off of your track record maybe for the past semester/quarter, maybe year or two years, look at the trend of your grades then anticipate what they think you will get in the courses you are in, in fall.

contingency- they accept you upon conditions. conditions i have no idea what they could be, could be maintain a GPA, take certain classes, take certain classes and get nothing lower than a B, etc.

FYI if they dont accept you on condition with having a 2.94, they aren’t worth it.

alright, i hope ucr accepts me with this condition

keep us updated buddy

alright, thx man

are there any hot girls at UCR?

are you online?

have you put all your coursework into TAG? that ASSIST GPA is what matters dont go off of your transcript.

my transcript right now says 3.19 UC, 3.23 CSU but on tag im a 3.23, after this summer it will continue to rise.

yah, i put all my classes that it transferaable, 2.73 right now

put in EVERY course, not just transferrable.

i only have one other class that is a math class, but i cant find it when i search for it, also its a remedial class, they only look at uc transfer gpa

People, give CORRECT information. OP, no, your TAG will be rejected if you don’t have 3.0 in SEPTEMBER. Meaning if you don’t have that GPA BEFORE Fall term is over, you will not get tagged. and Kitty, how’s 2.4 a D average? It’s B/C. even B average with a few C’s can get to that easily. Business administration is IMPACTED, far most competitive (along with engineering and psychology, etc.) major at UCR. You ask around and every other person is a business admin. major. That said, minimum won’t get you through. This year, UCR accepted about 62%, less than UCSC. Considering that they raised the min. GPA for TAG from 2.4 to 3.0, that says a lot. But every individual is different… circumstances, trend, personal statement, work history, etc. Although my last couple semester have been very good, my overall was only 2.77. I didn’t have that when tried to tag (and for CNAS it was 2.7) so I couldn’t TAG. I had a great essay, lots of ECs, and still got accepted without it. So I wouldn’t worry too much; what you got is what you got, nothing you can do to change. I’d say 2.9 something is still ok, assuming you have other things set. Remember though, after you apply in November (without TAG) and submit your Fall grades in January ish, your chance might go up even more if you do well in Fall (Fall grades still count toward determining admissions. However, Spring and Summer grades don’t really count, as far as GPA. You do have to maintain the overall minimum though, and pass all your class with a C or better) So no worries! I think you should be good.
