I actually called them just now and asked about my application. They didn’t asked for my UC application ID but instead asked for my SSN & to confirm my DOB. You guys can try to call admissions and ask for the status of your application but most likely it will still be under review since we’re transfers. Good luck guys!
I’m just trying to be patient and understanding. I’m sure thousands of applicants and the constant access to the portal that caused it to crash is stressful for the UC’s and I’m sure they’re workin as hard as possible to get the problems solved so they can get this admission process over with. But the suspense is killing me!! Lol
@kay31don…reddit is pretty much a collection of people on the internet sharing information, ideas, thoughts, quesitons, and answers. There are “subreddits” that consist of people who all have shared interest in different subjects. These range from communities like people involved with UCR to people who like rubber ducks. I just checked and UCR has a 1,595 person community. If you create an account you can post questions and maybe provide answers. Reddit is awesome. Here is the UCR link https://www.reddit.com/r/ucr/.

I applied as a transfer from Florida Gulf Coast University as a science major with a 3.62 GPA. Do you think I have a chance of being accepted even though I don’t go to a california CC???

Same boat as @enpz45, seems they couldn’t have made any transfer decisions yet unfortunately. ):
I’m hoping they will have all decisions out by the end of march including transfers so we can have the opportunity to RSVP to highlander day
I called…they said decisions for transfers will be end of the month-beg of april
also, I read on the freshman thread that their portal was saying “under review” earlier this morning and is now saying “being considered”, like mine is. Any thoughts on that? Or do you think it was just a system change
