I’m so confused. I got an email saying to check R’Web and click on financial aid blah blah blah, but on myUCR I’m not even accepted yet. What is up with this school this year…
Is that general processing FAFSA applications by UC? Like you added their code to your FAFSA application then FAFSA notifies them then they just process your application to see what they can offer to you ‘generally’?
@gabyitzelq1 haha! Everyone is able to tag hehe, just some are not qualified then their application are waived. Hehe this is why I say they are not clear if they approve your tag or not

@Alwaysfroze No, I did my fafsa in October and never touched it again. The email was sent by the financial aid office at UCR. They are giving me less than UCSD which I was not expecting, but I guess I know now.

@Alwaysfroze well i mean if you are able to because you meet the requirements, not if they can literally fill out the TAG, you know? I think if you got the email in October outlining the conditions it means you are on their TAG list, but if your grades dropped or something disqualifies you when you do the TAU, then you are no longer a TAG candidate. that’s what admissions counselors told me at UCI.
Oh well, still being under consideration. lol

I’m still under consideration also. And I’m from a local community college which I was told would have priority in decisions but I guess that’s not the case lol.

If you’re still under consideration. Did you guys update TAU classes for this spring to in progress. My fiancé didn’t and Monday she emailed the schools and she was accepted by UCM yesterday and UCR today. Just saying might want to check.
Yeah I updated my TAU twice back before the deadlines months ago, I’m honestly probably going to be waitlisted cause of the missing class I just found out that I have lol

@OnlyTheStrong Yeah, I updated it before the deadline as well but I just called and told them I just received my grades for Winter 2017 quarter and they told me to just email them so I’m doing that right now. Hopefully I’ll hear a decision soon. I verified with them when decisions will be out and they said it’ll all be done by the end of next week.
@theav8r Did you TAG UCI or anything? I kind of regret not applying to UCI now. I’m a Poli Sci major like you

@dianeuh96 I did not TAG to UCI or any other UC. Was mistakenly under the impression that the TAG was binding and consequently missed the deadline. Best of luck with the schools you’ve applied to!
