I got accepted back on Friday the 14th. I’ve already done my SIR, signed up for Highlander Orientation, and submitted a housing application. However I haven’t received my actual financial aid award yet. I only have the estimation. I’m somewhat confused considering those who just got accepted today already received their award?
@momogirl98 I’m curious. When are the orientation dates for UCR transfers? I looked on their website and I can’t find it but I need to plan ahead in the case I do get in to ask for vacation days off work and attend orientation and whatnot. I see the dates for UC Davis since I applied there but I can’t find UCR’s at all.
@dianeuh96 Well there are 3 orientation dates for transfers, its August 28, 29 and 30. I chose the first because I noticed all of the colleges would be apart of it.
@momogirl98 Thanks for letting me know. I’ll definitely request a few days off work to attend orientation if I get in

@yaycollege01 Once you’ve SIR’d and its been processed on your account will show up a link to the highlander orientation from there you just click that and sign up for a day. Remember that there is also a fee you need to pay I believe it was 90. However, for me it was waived.
@dianeuh96 By the way the orientation for transfers is only for 1 day I believe from 8 to 5.
@momogirl98 Gotcha. Unfortunately, I’ll have to take 1-2 days off work cuz I live in NorCal so I’ll probably be driving down and staying a night or something. Thanks for the heads up though! Really appreciate it

@momogirl98 Thank you ! How do did you apply for campus apartments? Every time I click on starting my application it says access denied. Any suggestions?
@yaycollege01 After you’ve submitted you SIR it takes a couple of days for them to process it. Once its been processed your account will change to reflect that. From there you will have access to fill out the application.
When I submitted the SIR for ucr, it said my SIR fee has beef deferred and no payment is due at this time. Anyone in the same boat? And why? Because of finical aid?

Does anyone have any insight on UCR psych program? Got Admitted into UCR but it wasn’t on my radar so much before, however now it is.
