***UCR TRANSFER DECISIONS/DISCUSSION 2018***

@katc15 I was waitlisted for Fall 2016 and I was accepted for Fall 2018 as a Transfer student

did you get rejected form ucsc? i got accepted to ucsc for econ with a 3.0 and missing all the calc classes required @Cinsix

@katc15 I got the same thing and I’m very confused

@katc15 I’m in the same boat. Riverside offered me a super generous financial aid package but no acceptance decision yet. I was accepted at UCSB (which I would go to over UCR) but packages won’t be released until tomorrow. I’m hoping for something similar from them.

I called too, a few days ago, and the lady that she’d talk with her supervisor and call me back if something was up. She never called back, and my financial aid popped up (finally!) yesterday. Still, I’m sure you were accepted before me, so it’s strange that your award hasn’t come up yet. When I called, it also seemed busy (I was on the line for about 30 minutes before they got to me!!) so if you have time, I suggest you call financial aid and be prepared to wait :frowning:

@lovepinkk98 ^ forgot to tag you in that comment

I just checked my portal!!!

I got into UCR!!! :smiley:

@mersyno1 Thank you for responding. I got my financial aid award notification through email yesterday around 5 p.m. Are you able to see yours now through R’ web?

@Piktuto Congrats! Thank you for letting us know :slight_smile:

@lovepinkk98 well it was a good sign i was admitted today. and definitely plan on attending UCR! hopefully as fellow highlanders we can be friends and hang out once fall semester starts. Im so excited!!

@fpk1210 Congrats! I will be attending too :slight_smile: I have already SIR’ed. Do you plan on going to Highlander Day? It seems like an interesting event.

@fpk1210 It sounds like a great idea :slight_smile: Are you attending a community college near UCR? I am currently attending Riverside City College and I have attended UCR for a summer session. You will love UCR. The school environment is awesome and everyone is so welcoming. I’m also very excited too.

Got accepted! To anyone who got that financial aid email yesterday but no acceptance letter, you might want to check the portal now. :smiley:

@katc15 Congrats!

@madiiiiiii My decision on the portal still says pending. My TAG was rejected and the reason why was because my GPA was not high enough. Strangely enough my GPA was a 3.4 before TAU and their GPA for TAG is 3.0. Hopefully I get my decision soon.

Congrats on the UCSC acceptance!
