Hey guys,
Seeing as UC apps were due recently, I thought I’d start this thread for any students that applied to Transfer to UCR for Fall 2019.
Feel free to post your stats, any worries you might have, or questions about the application process.
I’ll get the ball rolling:

IGETC: Complete by Spring 2019
EC’s: None due to extenuating circumstances (thoroughly explained in essays, great upwards trend in grades since then)

AA-T in Art History
Pre-Req’s: All completed
IGETC: Need Math (Spring’19)

Other schools: CSULA, CPP, Sonoma, CSUCI, UCSC
I didn’t do very well at the beginning of my college education. I technically am a non-traditional student (31yrs old), after a long break, I returned to school at GCC in Glendale, CA. My GPA from my current school is at 3.68 but my previous college work lowers my cumulative GPA down to 2.99. After my winter/spring semesters my expecting my cumulative GPA to rise to 3.1~
I’m hoping that CSULA will take me in since I am from the local area. Sonoma was my safe school (admitted) but I’m holding out either CPP / CSULA / UCR
I did TAG and received an email that my TAG got approved for UCR, but then I called the admissions office and they said that TAG and the uc app are two diff things. So now I’m paranoid again
