Are you guys transferring from CCC or otherwise? My stuff is weird because I did my associates while I was in the military so I figure that’s why mine is taking forever…
Admitted!!
I got my acceptance email on 3/26 for Sociology. IGETC is completed, but my gpa was only around a 2.9. I had pretty strong essays and I’ve worked two jobs since I started college. I am also a first generation student from San Diego area, transferring from San Diego Mesa college.
Still waiting on UCSD, UCI, and UCLA (UCLA was a super long shot since I had a fee waiver and was allowed to send my application to 4 campuses).
I got my acceptance packet in the mail but I haven’t heard anything from financial aid.

Fun (or not so fun) fact, I just found out UCR actually doesn’t read essays for transfer applications.

Hi guys. I have a question. I too was recently admitted but then before I was admitted I had to drop a course for which I’m 100% it is not a prerequisite or any kind of requirement at all considering it was an elective offered at my school. Unfortunately I was unable to update my TAU due to the fact that I dropped it a couple of days after the TAU was available online. Would me dropping this one course revoke my admissions? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. Im right now extremely paranoid.

@RagnarBasakar just call them ASAP and inform them. It should be fine if it wasn’t for your major
I just spoke to my counselor about dropping unrequired classes. You should be good. SEND THE EMAIL and VISIT CAMPUS AND TALK TO THE HOSS. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE 100% SAFE.
