Does anyone know if there are transfer groups on Facebook or something? I’m having a hard time finding one.
@jzipine I dont think there’s a group for just transfer students. There is a group called “Admitted to UC Riverside Fall 2019”.

I couldn’t find a thread for what I’m looking for so maybe I’ll get answers here… I didn’t apply to UCR but I got an email from them saying I have an opportunity to be admitted for Fall 2019? Is it because they want more students to go?? I’m actually considering it because I got waitlisted at UCSB and idk how good my chances are with getting off of it.
Interesting. They do that with Merced. UCR must have extra space. Yes, it’s a great offer because waitlists are notoriously iffy. If you SIR to UCR, you can still accept UCSB if you get off waitlist. You will just lose the deposit.
