I was accepted to both UCR and UCI. I live about 25 minutes from UCR and 50 from UCI. My major is wines studies but I'm planning to switch to political science. Which school will be better?

Wines studies? Do you mean Women’s Studies? (Not to be rude, just making sure) Before you make a decision, you need to get a feel of both institutions.

[UCR Department of Political Science](http://www.politicalscience.ucr.edu/)
[UC Irvine Department of Political Science | UCI Political Science](http://www.polisci.uci.edu/)

From what I am getting, it seems UCI has a slightly better ranked political science program. As a UCR student, I don’t hear a lot about our political science program so I can’t tell you for sure.

Contact both departments. Ask them where their strengths are and what they can offer you as an undergraduate student over the other university. That should be fun! =)

Haha yes women’s studies. Sorry autocorrect and thanks for the info. I’m leaning towards UCI now.
