UCR vs UCSC for Computer Engineering?

Which college is better for Computer Engineering? UCSC is closer to Silicon Valley so there would be more internship opportunities for me there. However, I hear that UC Riverside’s computer engineering program is pretty good as well so I don’t know what to do. Which college would be the best overall?

UCR’s CE program is ABET accredited while UCSC’s program is not. Have you compared each schools curriculum to make sure there are no glaring differences in their programs? Although ABET accreditation is not required for CE, ABET accreditation provides assurance that a college or university program meets the quality standards of the profession for which that program prepares graduates.

I would lean towards UC Riverside especially if it makes sense both financially and socially as a good fit.
