Hey guys this is my first post here so be kind to me pleasee! :D

Anyways I got accepted into Riverside and Santa Cruz and I'm waitlisted for Davis but I don't have much hope for Davis so I'm debating between Riverside and Santa Cruz!
I was hoping to either major in Neuroscience or Psychology and I was wondering which college had a better department for either of these!
Also, can you compare the food and environment? I've heard Santa Cruz is really beautiful while Riverside is just eh.

My friends are going to Riverside so I'm not sure what to do! I know Santa Cruz would provide me with a better education but I don't want to be alone there ><
Please help me! D:

I think I’d take Santa Cruz. I’m not sure that Riverside is at the level that SC is at. And yes, the campus is very beautiful (forests all around and everything).

Since they are both UC schools, education would be the same. Same professors from top notch ivy league schools, same teaching methods, and same curriculum… nuff said
psychology is impacted at both schools. but personally, if I were you, I would go to Riverside because I would feel comfortable being with some of my high school friends while making new friends at the same time, but that’s just me cuz that’s how i did lol. But if you don’t like the environment at UCR, then I would definitely go to UC Santa Cruz.

Don’t forget that UCR has more aznkid than UCSC :D

You wont be alone at UCSC. I came here barely knowing anybody (only three people from my high school came here), and now have tons of friends. Most people here are friendly and it wont be hard to make friends.
