SO I am really really sorry I was just crazy mad that night, and I just typed that in Fusteration, Please don’t take that personally ,because when I get mad I just can’t handle it, and now I am calmed down, and Realize that what happened is not my decision it’s gods. And he’s decided I am not going to Ucr is fine. So really really sorry that I wrote that last night, I was just pretty much raged, and I didn’t even know what I was saying

should I write a letter of interest? this is my top choice now because otherwise I would be going to Merced
Just wanted to let the transfers still on the waitlist know that UCR’s SIR date was made June 15th for admitted transfers. That means they’re giving more time for the admitted students to take the offer as it seems fewer than expected have. Which potentially means more transfer will be admitted off the waitlist!
@sophiaah hi! I was committed to uc Merced as well until I got into riverside. I wrote a LOCI a few weeks before my acceptance and it helped me get in. Try writing one!

Literally me too, writing that email to the admissions office I think helped my application A LOT.
what kind of replies did yall get? i wrote one too but they said the decision is based off of our application and no other material( the letter) will be included and my LOCI doesnt make a difference. ://

Emailing the LOCI helped me get off the waitlist. She said she couldn’t offer me admission for my primary and alternate majors which were Data Science and Computer Science. She instead offered me electrical engineering in which I accepted. I’m just worried about getting rescinded as I ended with a D last semester in AP physics. However, I did take CP physics and got B’s in both semesters, meaning that I have already completed my A-G requirements before taking AP physics. What are my chances in getting rescinded? Lastly, I wish everyone good luck in getting off the waitlist.
i sent one out yesterday and they replied something similar with what hpoee said
@sophiaah and @hpoee2111 don’t lose any hope on getting admitted. I sent a LOCI as well, but I sent mine mid April. They responded the same to me, saying they only look at what was present in application and not other additional materials. I was then among the first few taken off the waitlist for Engineering. GOOD LUCK!!!
EVERYONE I GOT INNN!!! This morning, i checked myUCR, but there was nothing in my email. Im so HAPPY:D Environmental Engineering with 3.3 GPA, 1110 SAT, good extra curriculars with executive positions. I got in 7 days after i sent an email( i sent it to 4 different people). I sent it to the admissions office and deborahs email, I accidentally sent twice, which she responded to, and to someone named emily( emily.engelschall@ucr.edu) even though the response was also from deborah. Good luck!
hi!! I emailed Debbie last night at like 2 AM my LOCI (this was the second LOCI I sent her) and she emailed me back this morning saying I was admitted into UCR for my major already!!
