<p>So, I'm in the top 1% of my graduating class. I'm trying to get into UCD, UCB, or UCLA. I wouldn't be worrying so much about admission if my school was WASC accredited. But since my high school is new, it only has "conditional" status (I have no idea what that means, my principal told me). My question is if the ELC program applies to schools that are in conditional status.</p>
<p>ELC compares your UC admissions GPA to the top 9% historic UC admissions GPA at your school. Ask your school officials or UC if they will tell you what that is.</p>
<p>ELC merely means that if you do not get admitted to the UCs that you apply to, some UC (probably Merced or Riverside) will admit you.</p>

<p>Hahaha I wouldn’t really wouldn’t be worrying about the history of GPA at my school since my class is the second graduating class in its history.</p>
