<p>haha no i mean i put so much effort into them and then people are telling me that they just skim or something.</p>
<p>nope, my counselor knew some uc adcoms and she said they actually read them, but they might skim through them when they get tired, theyre human beings afterall</p>
<p>they do have quite a few applicants though... so its probable if you have the numbers (high sats, gpa, etc.) and are a CA resident that you will just get accepted.</p>
