Will teh UC schools see our senior year first semester grades when we apply? I've kept up straight A's, but this semester im sure i'll get alteast 1 B, if not 2. I hope this doesn't kill off my chances.

They don't see your transcripts until after they've admitted you.

so if i were to get a few B's and maybe one C, would they seriously think about revoking my acceptance?

bump bump bump

I guess it depends on which UCs you are applying to.

UCB, UCLA and UCSD are the most competitive. I think if you are applying to Davis, Irvine, etc., it won't be an issue.

Good question!

The key is not to get a D or F in any a-g required class. That can be cause for having your admissions revoked. C's and B's are generally not going to be a major problem, unless, of course, your GPA drops signficantly overall.

Senior year really is a challenge, isn't it?

extremely challenging, the teachers are all difficult, 5/6 classes are AP, an d im trying to juggle taking the ACT, SAT, and SAT II's while doing other EC's. But im sure everyone on CC is on the same boat as me so it's all good, just wanted to know, and by teh way, im applying to the top UC's, so UCB UCLA and UCSD, so I hope it won't have that much of an effect....
