UC's and Subject Tests

I was wondering how universities in the UC system look at subject tests.

[University of California Admissions](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman/examination_reqs.html)

Here it states that they require two subject tests, but does this mean that they only look at the two scores that you send in and disregard all other scores? Or do they mean that they require a minimum of two tests while also looking at any other subject tests you have taken?

They will look at your two highest scores and disregard the rest.

Thank you for the answer, it clears up a lot

while the official policy is two subject tests, your app will show them all (unless you use score choice). Thus, a reader can see any and all “low” scores. Whether they take them into account while the reading the app is human psychology – I’m willing to bet that they will not necessarily be “disregarded”.

True, but it’s to their benefit to count the highest scores. Also, this also applies if you are planning on taking like 5 subject tests. 5 isn’t better than 2, high scores are what matter.

Also the subject tests must be in two different subjects. Just taking biology and chemistry for example won’t count. And UCs do not accept math I, but they accept math II.

Hello there
