Has any one not recieved letters confirming that their applications has been recieved? I still haven’t heard back from UCLA… and my friend said he has. Is there something wrong here?

I got a letter from UCSD.

I have not gotten one from UCLA yet either. It just takes some schools longer to process the applications.

nothing from UCLA yet

they do get like 40,000 applications every year, so it will probably take them some time to get through them.

I think i'm waiting on UCLA as well, my friend still hadn't got UCSD...Davis took forever, Irvine was the fastest.

I've gotten Davis', but not UCSD's

I got Berkeley, Irvine, Riverside, and SD. Nothing from LA yet.

All of them except LA.....

got Irvine, SD, Berkeley.. not LA yet....

i guess whole bunch of ppl applied to LA this year... or maybe they're just slow.

from what i hear, la never sends anything out.

does ur admission letter come in a bigger envelope than ur rejected letter? whats in the admission letter envelope? and whats in the rejected letter envelope?

If you are rejected you don't get a letter.

if you don't get a letter if you are rejected, how do you know u are rejected?

Check online for your admission information. If you are admitted, then you can submit your SIR online as well.

Acceptance letters come in all shapes in sizes. Some schools use small letters to tell you that you were accepted, other schools use large envelopes that don't have anything inside. And even then, there are schools that send you a big package of information when you are accepted.

Some schools send rejection letters, others don't. But in general, the rejection letters are smaller.

I got an email confirmation from Irvine, in the mail I got one from Merced and Santa Cruz, still waiting on Santa Barbara...
