Participating in a selective program for seniors in my county who are interested in a career in medicine. 13 kids are accepted out of my entire county. The course load is VERY intense. 3 days out of the week are spent shadowing doctors to gain clinical experience.</p>

Well I think your high school classes and GPA are pretty good. Your ECs and community work is good too. But I think you should have done better on your SAT subject tests! by the way, what is your SAT score?</p>

UCSB- you got it!
UCSD- match/ low reach
UCLA- high reach
USC- match
I would also suggest you should apply to UC Davis. I has good science programmes.</p>

<p>Your scores and GPA are not particularly competitive for UCLA, and since they don’t consider URM, I’d say it’s a bit of a reach. It seems good enough for the other UCs, and I believe USC might take into consideration the URM, which is probably enough to make up for the GPA and scores.</p>
<p>Yeah, I know my sat2s are a little low for LA, but i was hoping the above average act would even it out. Oh well, USC is my second choice anyways :)</p>
