I'm currently on break, headed into senior year.
My overall UC GPA is 3.6 (messed up sophomore year, family death)
Very rigorous schedule, at the biggest charter school in the nation (Granada Hills Charter)
10 AP's finished by the time I graduate (5 senior year) <--- hard senior workload to compensate for GPA
By the time I apply, I will have completed five community college classes
SAT l - 2000 (Math:670, CR: 670, Writing:660)
I will take the SAT R test again, hoping for over 2150. *Want to make up for weak GPA

Subject Tests: Math ll and Literature taking on June, hoping for 700+ on both

ECs:
- School Yearbook 11&12 - Design/Sports Editor
- Multicultural Club President 10th grade
- Played basketball for 9 years (rec center)
- Peer tutor for school (40 hours)
- Volunteer at hospital (200+ hours)
- Job over summer
- Coached little league at local rec center for basketball over breaks
- Played the tabla (Indian musical drums) for 13 years, won several competitions

- Temple services for countless hours (every Friday/Sunday)

I know that UCLA and USB are out of my reach, however, I am still a bit optimistic about Santa Barbara and perhaps even San Diego. What do you guys think? Any recommendations or flaws in my resume? Any other match colleges besides UC's that would suit me? Social atmospheres!

Plus, I will be spending the summer writing some stellar UC essays, :)
