<p>I think that your SAT scores and GPA are low for your top two choices. I thought that when they said that freshman year didn’t matter that they actually meant it, but maybe I’m wrong. If there’s a significant upward trend, then that’s a good sign. Just remember that the essay and recs need to be good to compensate for your “hurting GPA.” I wish you the best of luck! :)</p>
