I know that there’s a very similar thread, but that poster was considering different UC schools.
I was accepted to UC Irvine in February so I think I have CHP but I’m not sure. I was also admitted to UC Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, LA, and Berkeley. I was also admitted to a few private schools, but I’m trying to eliminate all but one UC to make the decision a little easier.
I’m an instate student, and FA is a bit messy and needs to be resolved, so please don’t ask about financial details! I don’t know yet myself, and would just like to know about differences in general and for econ majors.
At UCLA, I was admitted to L&S as a pre-econ major, and at Berkeley I was admitted to L&S.
So, anything that I should know? I’ve heard that UCLA’s econ department is pretty big, and I’m meeting with a family friend who is majoring in econ at Berkeley, but I just wondered if CC members had different perspectives that could help me choose.
