<p>Freshman year does not count GPA wise. The reason I brought up the maximum weighted courses is because of the limitation on sophomore added points. When you apply to the UCs basically you have your sophomore and junior year grades. Thus the limitation on points I was speaking of has to do with the sophomore year.</p>

<p>For the UC GPA the maximum honors/weighted is 8 right? Everything else is unweighted even if it was an AP class?</p>
