UC's know about ratemyprofessors.com amd pickaprof.com?

if they notice which professor you took...probably easy professors...
will dat jeopardize your chance of getting in?

if u get a really hard professor
will dat do otherwise?

I really doubt that UC’s look at what professors you took. They look at the quality of the courses you took and what grade you received for them.

Thusly, it looks better to get an A in chemistry than getting in A in basketweaving or something.

JetForce is right. The names of your instructors from the community college won’t even be listed on your transcript.

do you really think they have that much time? Besides, your professor isn’t listed on the transcript nor do they ask for it on the application.

I’ve actually had the same thought, but it would just take way too much time even if they did know who your professors were.

On another note, the professors themselves know how they’re rated. One time I had a class where the professor BEGGED us to give him a good rating on ratemyprofessor.com, because supposedly the dean of the department read the ratings. I think he was new, and wanted to impress. He had one or two ratings at the time, both negative, and I honestly think he made his class easier because of them. I had a B in the class, but I really think I got an A because I told him I’d give him a good rating in exchange for an A. (If dreakol reads this, it was Koppers).

Then I’ve had other professors who told us, verbatim, “I don’t give a st what you say about me on that stupid f***g website.” That was said jokingly by a professor who actually has very good ratings (Covell).
