UC's OUT OF STATE

<p>OK. so i dont live in california. New Mexico rather. I know the uc's weigh a lot on grades and sat scores. so does anyone know what the average numbers for those accepted out of state for ucla and uc berkeley are?? thanks</p>

<p>I'm interested in Berkeley, so I was wondering the same thing. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer, but consider this a bump.</p>

<p>For Cal and UCLA, average in state GPA is about 4.2. OOS would be relatively higher. Also keep in mind that OOS, UCs cost over $40,000 with little aid for the OOS student.</p>

<p>OOS acceptance rate at Berkeley is ~18%, I think. Very very competitive out of state, much like a top private. I don't think they publish specific numbers, though.</p>
