I am hoping and praying that i get accepted to UCSD, i also applied to ucla, berkeley, irvine and santa barbara (in state)
my question is, are the SAT 2's worth more than the 1's
im just worried because my horrendous SAT 2's overshadow my ok sat 1 score
i got a 630, 620,570 on the 2's and a 1310 on the 1
i have around a 4.0 weighted. am i at a large disadvantage?

Yes, SAT II does in fact count more for UC.

The exact formula is::

[SAT II Writing + SAT II Math + SAT II any other subject except the other math test] X 2 + SAT

So, you have a 4950. I personally have a 5340 but only a 3.5 GPA. I'm willing to bet that we have the same exact chances.

sydney22:

Yes, the SAT IIs are worth twice as much as the SAT Is.
Yes, you are at a disadvantage.

UCLA: Reach
UCB: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach
UCI: Match
UCSB: Match
